JSC “Tashkent Thermal Power Station”

The main activity of the Joint-Stock Company “Tashkent Thermal Power Station” is the generation of electricity and heat supply.The construction of the power plant, which is one of the largest power plants in the republic’s power system, was started in 1960, and the first unit of the station with a capacity of 150 MW was included in the grid in December 1963, the last in 1971.The power plant was put into commercial operation in 1975. As of July 1, 2019, the station had an installed electric capacity of 1860 MW – blocks № № 1,2,3,4,5,9 -150 MW, blocks № 6,11,12 – 155 MW, blocks № 7,8 , 10 – 165 MW.The power units include: – gas-oil-fuel drum boiler, with natural circulation (boilers № 1.2 – type TGM-94; boilers № № 3-12 – type Ep 500/140); – PVK-150 turbines (blocks № 1,2,3,4,5,7); K-160-130 (blocks № 8,10), reconstructed for operation in the heating mode with controlled heat release T-110 / 155-130 (blocks № 6,11,12) and T-110-150-130 ( block № 9); TVV-165-2 generators; power transformers. Power is supplied to the power system through power transformers T- (1-12), AT-3, AT-4, T-13; Since the fourth quarter of 2015, a combined-cycle plant with a capacity of 370 MW was commissioned. As of December 1, 2019, 455.8 billion kWh of electricity was generated.
